Friday Favorites

It's Friday! Yay!

-ONE-
My 32nd birthday is Sunday, and we are celebrating with friends tomorrow night. I'm so excited for a little adults-only date night. This time last year (this actual day) we were moving into our new house and I spent my birthday last year at Walmart shopping for groceries and cleaning supplies while it was sleeting outside from a random cold front. Here's to hoping this year is a bit more fun!

-TWO-
My favorite Amazon purchases of the week:

+ This Cartier LOVE bracelet dupe ($21.99 vs. the original at a whopping $3,900)

+ This Hermés H Buckle Braclet dupe ($21.99 vs. the original at a whopping $640)

+ These non-stick silicone utensils with wooden handles ($32.99 for the set) -- after nearly nine years of marriage, these were due for an upgrade!

-THREE-
Have y'all seen Sam Edelman's line for...Walmart?! You can see the entire line here, but here are some of my favorites (not sponsored, just obsessed):

+ Sling-Back Sandals ($33.50)

+ Betty-2 Slide Sandals ($41.50)

Walmart is just killing it lately. I have found the cutest things from there and I used to be a "never Walmart" person. They've officially converted me!

-FOUR-
We had a fun little treat on Tuesday night: the ice cream truck! Texas Ice Cream came tinkling down our street after dinner and we made a beeline out the door with change. It was such a fun little mid-week treat that made an ordinary night just a little more special. We are excited for many more ice cream truck visits this spring and summer!

Also, yes, Walker is wearing Crocs sandals and "silly socks." Some battles I just don't fight.

-FIVE-
I've talked about it before, but did you know Amazon has an entire prints/photo line? I have gotten my photos printed from here for as low as 9 cents each and I have started ordering my photo books from here, too. I make one for each of my boys for their birthday each year (it goes from the end of one birthday-the end of the other) and they're around $40 (depending on how many photos you use, the type of book you purchase, etc.). Honestly, what can Amazon NOT do?!

-SIX-
One more for today: don't forget to enter my JORD Watch giveaway HERE! You can read all the details in this post. (I promise it's super simple: just type your first name, your email address, select your gender and choose your favorite watch from a lineup. Voilá -- you're entered!)

Hope everyone has a great weekend!

  4. As kids it was horrible it you were even seen in Walmart by one of your friends, now they have everything and I love looking around for cute stuff! I think it's fun to see what these kiddos are demanding to wear sometimes even if it is ridiculous. One morning Bowen randomly decided he wanted to wear his filthy rubber boots to school. I sent tennis shoes because I figured they would never last but he was still wearing them at the end of the day! Have a great time tomorrow night!!
