Friday Favorites: Easter Edition

Happy Easter Weekend! Today is a somber day in the Christian community as we remember the death of Jesus on this day thousands of years ago. But we rejoice in the true miracle that He rose again on the third day! It's Friday, but Sunday's coming.

-ONE-
We are getting to celebrate Easter with my family this year and I couldn't be more excited! Here's a little peek at Easter's past:

2018:

2017:
*Knox's first Easter!

2016:
*No pictures of me because I was 8.5 months pregnant and a giant!

2015:

2014:
*Walker's first Easter!

-TWO-
The boys had spring pictures at preschool on Tuesday and I loved seeing them in their cute button downs. I had to snap a quick picture before we left:

-THREE-
In case you missed it, I shared Wednesday a few of my favorite things. (And if you're now singing the song from "The Sound of Music," we can officially be best friends.)

This mascara is one of the items on that list, so hop on over and check it out! :)

-FOUR-
We recently did the landscaping in our back yard and I'm so beyond thrilled. When we moved into this house, the former owners had the fence surrounding the backyard painted four different colors, had zero grass and/or landscaping to contend with, and they didn't take care of the pool at all. Here's what the backyard looked like in the listing photos (so awful):

And here it is now (all the praise hands!). I can't wait to see everything grow and bud!

-FIVE-
And as I do every week, I wanted to share my favorite Amazon purchase(s) of the week because Amazon is life, am I right?!

+ This top (that I ordered in charcoal and dark green): $18.99. It's the perfect top to throw on with yoga leggings and look somewhat put together vs. a typical T-shirt.

+ This linen + room spray ($12.99) -- I love the way it makes my sheets smell like a spa

+ And a restock in my boys' current sizes of the best long-sleeved rashguards ever ($19.99) -- I buy white because they can be bleached and go with anything; they have a UV protection factor of 50+!

I hope everyone has a wonderful Easter! He is Risen!

  1. I forgot how unkept the backyard was! It looks amazing! And oh my goodness I am not sure who has grown up more in the photos, Walker, Knox or Brandon... he had such a baby face in the 2014 and 2015 pics. Happy Good Friday lady.
