Happy Friday, y'all!
First and foremost, my thoughts and prayers are with all of you in the path of Hurricane Florence. After Hurricane Harvey hit Texas last year, I know the true devastation it can cause, and I pray you all stay safe.
Many of you know April and have heard that her precious daughter, Charlotte, was diagnosed with Leukodystrophy in July. Through blogging and LipSense, April has become a sweet friend of mine, and my heart, like many others, completely shattered when we received the news about Charlotte. When April posted about their focus on joy, I asked my mom to make a sign for she and Charlotte with Psalm 126:3 on it for both April and Charlotte to see each day, and I asked many other bloggers to go in on it with me. April received it earlier this week and my prayer is that they can focus on the joy during this difficult season. I can't even imagine and I wish there was more I could do.
Special thanks to the following women who helped make this gift to April possible: Emily, Kelsey, Danielle, Jenn, Jessi, Jessica, Victoria, Elizabeth, Christina, Lynn, Julie, Annie and Chesson.
I blogged about this top a couple of weeks ago, but wanted to share it today again, too, because I love it so much! I wore it to BSF on Wednesday and it's so comfortable and I love the color. It's a bit lighter in person (and after I washed it) than online, but overall I really like it and you can't beat the price tag: $14.62! I think I might get it in navy next.
Here's the picture of it on me:
And here is the picture from the website:
One of my favorite things lately is watching the boys wave goodbye to Brandon in the mornings (if they're awake before he leaves). It just melts my heart and I'm so thankful for how much they love and adore him.
This scrub is technically marketed toward men (it's the Jack Black line), but I recently bought it over Labor Day Weekend and LOVE it. It makes my skin so, so soft and it has mint in it that makes my face have a nice tingle in the shower. It has really small granules that remind me of microdermabrasion, too. I bought the 3 fl. oz. size for $18 and I think I'll be using it for a good few months. (I use every other day and just squeeze out a tiny pea-sized amount.)
