Thoughts for Thursday: My Christmas Wishlist

As cliché as it sounds and to be completely honest, the older I get, the less "stuff" I want and the more I desire for my kids to have a wonderful holiday, for my family to be together and for everyone to be happy and healthy. Funny how getting older will do that to you.

This year I have honestly had a really hard time telling people (namely my husband and grandmother) what I want for Christmas. There just hasn't been anything that I've just been dying to have! But alas, I've come up with a few things that would be nice to open on Christmas...and the majority is stuff that I actually need more so than things I want! ;)

one || two || three

four || five || six

What about you? What's on your Christmas list this year?

  1. this is a great list! I love that spode china, my mom has it and I hope it's passed down to me one day soon! Lake jammies are the best (so i've heard) i'm a nightgown girl (not grandma style hahahah) so I'm not sure if i'd like a shirt and shorts plus I need some support in the chest..bahah.

  3. I'm on the same "less stuff" boat (partly because DC apartments=TINY). But, I bought Hunter rain boots as my "you did it!" treat when I moved to DC and they are worth every dang penny.

  5. Great list! I've been collecting Nikko Christmas dishes for several years now. My MIL gifts me with a few new place settings every Christmas. I just love getting them out every December.

  7. Oh my gosh, my wishlist post is so similar because I said the same thing... I don't need or want for much of anything these days! You're right, getting older will do that. I almost put Christmas plates on mine, too. :) Love your list and hope you get a few goodies from it.
