Thoughts for Thursday: Walker's Thanksgiving Feast

We're exactly a week away from Thanksgiving -- can you believe it?!

Walker's class at preschool hosted the cutest Thanksgiving feast for the kids and their parents, grandparents and siblings on Tuesday. It was just precious: the kids were donning pilgrim and Indian "hats"; there was a ton of food for the kids (and one mom made a homemade pumpkin pie, homemade apple pie and homemade whipped cream -- color me impressed!); and then when the feasting was over, the kids got to share what they were thankful for. Walker was thankful for mommy and daddy, Thanksgiving, and the sun and the moon. Ha!

Knox had fun trying to snatch food off of Walker's classmates' plates, and thankfully Walker's sweet teacher let me make a plate for him and let him sit at the table with the big kids. ;)  My in-law's joined us, too, and it was such a fun time.

The boys with my in-law's. Walker's shirt is from Caught Ya Lookin'

The gang's all here!

I'm officially in the spirit for Thanksgiving after that cute little party! Can't wait to eat lots of turkey, sides and pumpkin pie NEXT WEEK! :)

  1. This is so cute! I wish jacks class did a feast but they save it for the 4 year old class.

  2. How ADORABLE is he?!? My mom has a picture of me framed in her house in a hat just like this at Walker’s same age! Precious!

  3. How adorable - and that school picture today - seriously too cute!!
