Recipe: Crock Pot Shepherd's Pie

My Nana shared this recipe with me a couple of months ago, and since then it has been on repeat in our house. Not only is it easy, it's delicious and very kid-friendly. (My boys ask for seconds every time I make it!) It's definitely not the prettiest recipe, but it sure is delicious. (The yummiest foods definitely don't always look pretty!) 

I posted it on my Instagram Stories last week and many of you DM'd me asking for the recipe, so I wanted to share it today. :) Note that I do double this recipe to feed my hungry boys! 





Crock Pot Shepherd's Pie 

Ingredients: 
1 (22 oz.) pkg. frozen mashed potatoes
1 lb. ground beef
2 T. flour
1 (10.5 oz.) can French Onion Soup
1 (16 oz.) pkg. frozen mixed vegetables 
1 tsp. salt 
1/2 tsp. black pepper
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese 

Directions: 
1. Brown meat, drain and sprinkle with flour.
2. Add soup and cook, stirring constantly until thickened. Stir in frozen mixed vegetables, salt and pepper. 
3. Spoon mixture into Crock Pot and top with potatoes and cheese. 
4. Cook on low for four hours.

  1. the first time I ever had shepherds pie was after I had graham and someone brought it to us. It was so good! I'm d definitely going to make this. I know at least one little boy who will love it!
