What's Hap-pinning Wednesday: Mother's Day Gift Guide

One of my favorite quotes is, "One of the most precious jewels you'll ever have around your neck are the arms of your children." Isn't that so true? I'd much rather have their precious handmade beaded bracelets and macaroni necklaces than a diamond any day -- but it's always nice to open a small something on Mother's Day to feel just a tiny bit appreciated...because let's be honest, I've learned that being a mom is seriously one of the most thankless jobs ever. Funny, I can't remember the last time my kids told me "thank you" for wiping their bums, or cutting up their food into tiny pieces, or chauffeuring them to their play dates. ;)

So, here are some sweet little gift ideas to thank that special mom in your life -- or just go ahead and send this link to your husband. No shame there, sister!

  4. YESSS love this wreath! And gimme all of the candles! Jackson actually is going through a 'Thank You' phase..he will ask for the simplest thing like turning on an episode of Mickey Mouse, or getting him a treat, and he almost always says 'thank you mommy' and I melt into a puddle. I am sure it won't last ;-)

  5. It's so true- I love it when my kids draw me little pictures or make me something homemade. It's so sweet that they take the time out to make me something, and I love those gifts more than anything store bought- although I do love that pretty robe! haha
