Friday!

Happy Friday, y'all! We are officially limping toward the finish line this week and I'm giving ALL THE PRAISE HANDS to this day. Here are my five today:

-ONE-
I told y'all on Monday about our crazy Sunday night full of tornado sirens and vomit, but what I didn't mention is that Brandon was on a plane to en route Detroit for the week for business. {He's currently en route home, thank the Lord!} So about three hours after he left, the sirens went off, and I was the one getting two sleepy, drowsy boys up out of bed and into the closet while internally freaking out and externally trying to be super brave and strong for the kids -- letting Walker find shadows on the wall from the flashlights and singing "Jesus Loves Me." And then cleaning up vomit from the closet floor and from all over Knox while putting Walker in my bed with an episode of "Mickey Mouse" at 10 p.m. and then getting them both back to sleep. Sigh.

Closet selfie for the win!

And then poor Knox came down with RSV {he was officially diagnosed yesterday} and hasn't been sleeping this week and this mama is just exhausted.

Pass the wine, y'all!

-TWO-
I bought this overnight cream at Target on a whim when mine ran out and y'all, I love it! It smells so amazing and my skin is so smooth and fresh when I wake up in the mornings. It works perfectly on my combination skin, but especially in the middle of this dry winter. Scoop this stuff up!

-THREE-
When my best friend Lindsey texted me with the link to these cute Valentines, I knew I had to scrap my original Valentine plan and order these immediately for my truck-loving Walker and his little classmates. Bonus points that all I have to do is stick some Annie's Cheddar Bunnies in there and call it a day! ;)

-FOUR-

I had heard from multiple people that these jeans were amazing, so I ordered them for this spring/summer and y'all, they ARE amazing! They're so comfy just the right amount of stretch, and the distressed look is a fun touch. Old Navy for the win!

-FIVE-
We went on a walk on Monday afternoon and Walker found this giant stick that he has dubbed his "walking stick." That boy walked with this thing and it's his newfound "treasure" that he requests for every outside adventure now. {And yes, I broke off the sharp, pointed end!} It's really the little things, y'all.

I hope y'all have wonderful weekends!

Linking up with April, Amanda, Andrea, Amy and Katie

  5. So happy Brandon is on his way home! I will not judge one bit if you go ahead and hit the bottle of wine tonight ;-) I have the non distressed white jeans from Old Navy. They are seriously the absolute best! I don't use a night cream right now, but I think I may try that stuff out! HAPPY FRIDAY FRIEND!
