Thoughts for Thursday: Happy Fall + Autumn Chopped Salad Recipe

Happy Thursday, and Happy First Day of Fall! This is pretty much how I feel that today is the very first day of fall, one of my favorite seasons: 

Today, I'm linking up with Annie and Natalie for "Thoughts for Thursday," and today I'm re-sharing my favorite fall salad: Autumn Chopped Salad! I originally shared the recipe two years ago here, but I love it so much that I knew it was worth re-posting. 

My Nana introduced us to this super easy, delicious salad right after Walker was born, and it has become a staple in our house. 

-1 container pre-washed Romaine blend lettuce
-2 green pears, sliced 
-1 pkg. bacon, fried crisp and crumbled
-1 cup Craisins 
-1 container crumbled goat cheese (can use feta)
-1/2 cup Brianna's Poppy Seed Dressing
-1/2 cup Newman's Own Balsamic Vinaigrette 
-Optional: sliced chicken breasts 

1. Mix all together: lettuce, sliced pears, crumbled bacon, Craisins, crumbled goat cheese and sliced chicken breasts {if you use them}. 
2. In a small bowl, mix the two salad dressings together and toss with the salad. Enjoy!
