Happy Monday! I hope y'all had great weekends! Like I blogged about on Friday, ours was super low-key and I loved every minute of it.

Brandon has half-day Fridays in the summers, so he came home bearing Chipotle burrito bowls (for my cheat day, ha!) and we all hung out as a family. Sweet Knox love, loves his Daddy and it's precious to watch! Brandon typically gets some of his biggest smiles.

When Knox went down for a nap, Brandon took Walker to our neighborhood pool for a couple of hours to swim and burn some energy. We are relishing in these pool days until it closes next month!

If you follow me on Instagram, you may have seen this little video, but we poured ourselves a glass of champagne to toast to the Olympics, and a certain little someone wanted to get in on the action with his sippy cup of milk. ;) He loves to toast and say, "Cheers!" to anything these days. So we toast quite often in our house to pretty much anything. Ha!

We had an all-American meal to celebrate the Olympics' Opening Ceremony: cheeseburgers, baked beans and sweet potato fries...and it was delicious. (Although I hadn't had a carb in about three weeks, so after I ate this meal, I felt so bloated and gross. Ugh!)

We stayed up way too late (for us) watching the Opening Ceremony and Saturday morning came quite fast!

I have absolutely zero pictures of Saturday because we literally did nothing (and it was glorious!). Brandon made homemade blueberry pancakes and eggs, and then I took Walker with me to run a few errands, and it was fun being with my little guy spending some one-on-one time!

I went to drop a few things off for my sister-in-law before I went to try on a bridesmaid's dress for sweet Laura's wedding, and my SIL offered to keep Walker while I did that. He had so much fun playing with his cousin (who is just three months older than him) and his 6-month-old twin cousins!

We watched more of the Olympics on Saturday afternoon, cleaned around the house and ate leftovers for dinner. I love lazy Saturdays!

I started the Bikini Body Mommy 90-Day Challenge, and I'm already feeling it! I'm hoping to kick these last eight pounds of baby weight and really get back into shape. I have too many cute clothes in my closet that I want to wear this fall and I refuse to buy a bigger size!

Since Hand Foot & Mouth is currently making its way around our church nursery in Walker's class (with seriously 10+ kids with it), we decided to keep the boys home and watch church via our live stream. No way was I risking getting HFM for Walker and exposing a newborn to it! That said, I got my workout in, drank my Plexus Pink Drink that sweet Gentel sent me, and tackled my to-do list after watching church!

We had another lazy Sunday, just running errands, watching the Olympics and eating a yummy supper

It wasn't the most riveting of weekends, but one we really did need! Can't wait to read about y'all's weekends!

Linking up with Biana

  1. I think it's awesome that you guys are always cheersing :) You are going to rock that 90 day challenge girl! xo, Biana -BlovedBoston

  2. We just taught Logan how to cheers too! So cute! Knox is just the cutest. Good luck on your 90 day challenge!

  3. I love relaxing weekends like this - we did nothing Saturday too and it was just the best! Your meal for the olympics looks delicious - we've been loving watching too!

  4. If Jesse would let me, I'd eat Chipotle burrito bowls everyday but thank God he doesn't let b/c it prob wouldn't do anything good for my body- pregnant or not. Plus he still jokes about when Chipotle made people sick (even though it wasn't in our state).

  5. The perfect weekend! We watch so much of the Olympics too!

  6. That's awesome Brandon has 1/2 days on Fridays! Pool days are the best! Sounds like the best weekend!
