Confessional Thursday

Happy Thursday, y'all! I'm linking up with Annie and Natalie to share some of my confessions today.

+ All of this Cinco de Mayo talk has me wanting tacos (and a margarita) so badly. If there's one thing I've missed this pregnancy, it's margaritas. I can't wait to indulge in one so soon!

+ Do any of y'all feel like this, or is it just me? I'm definitely not one of those girls who can roll out of bed looking like a beauty queen. (And remember that episode on "The Bachelor" when Ben went in to get the girls at like, what, 3 a.m.? And Caila was ready to go in a jiffy? Yeah, well I'm the chick with the retainer in her mouth. Ha!)

+ Walker and I had lunch at La Madeleine on Tuesday after my doctor's appointment, and these ladies at the table next to us were having a full-on (loud) conversation about their IBS issues. I tried not to listen, of course, but it was such a train wreck that I couldn't help myself. Of course, I texted this to my friend Susana since we used to eat at this very restaurant when we worked together, and she texted me back (in full jest): "Ew! That's so Plano." Ha! Do any of y'all watch the train wreck that is The Real Housewives of Dallas? I almost spit my drink out when I read that text message! (And in all seriousness, I have absolutely nothing against Plano and truly love that cute city!)

+ Even on beautiful days, I take Walker with me to Target to kill some time. And hey, if I just so happen to walk out of there with a cute dress or a few things from the $1 aisle...whoops!

+ I have consumed far too many bowls of Cocoa Krispies cereal than is probably humanly acceptable. I keep telling myself I only have about 3ish weeks left to indulge like this, so I might as well enjoy it!

+ I'm so over hearing about the presidential primaries and change the channel on the TV and/or radio whenever news about it or the candidates comes on. I think all the candidates suck and really wish we could just start all over again.

+ This pregnancy has really made my freckles, moles and little skin tags amplified and it's terrifying. I think a trip to the dermatologist (once this baby is born) is in order!

+ I get really annoyed at people who constantly tweet celebrities/product lines/brands/etc. just to get a reply. It just seems super try-hard to me. #sorrynotsorry

+ I tried to watch "Rich Kids of Beverly Hills" the other day and just could. not. even. Am I getting too old when these types of people (and their voices) really bother me?!

+ If I'm bored, I will sit and pick my split ends. It's such a horrible habit, but I caught myself doing it the other day and was embarrassed because I didn't know how long I'd been sitting there doing that (and who had seen me)!

+ I just realized I did a "TBT" on Instagram yesterday. On a Wednesday. Pregnant brain.

So what about you? What are you confessing today?

  1. I feel like I'm ignoring one of my best friends by not drinking a marg and eating mexican food today. Dramatic, but true. Killing time at Target is one of my favorite pass-times too but it's lost it's luster over the last few weeks! By the time I get off work my feet are just like "GO HOME ALREADY." All the pregnancy probs today. I'm so so so so so so sooo glad I haven't been tempted to watch RHOD yet, they sound really awful!

  3. Oh my gosh that quote - seriously until I put some effort into it I'm in the homeless category - I have no idea how people wake up looking fab! I opened the door for the repair guy this morning and was slightly embarrassed but didn't care to get ready yet haha!

  4. I don't understand how anybody wakes up ready to go either! I keep trying to like RHOD but those women are just a new level of crazy. I'm so obsessed with the Presidential race some days and other days I just can't handle it anymore! It's day by day but I'm ready for the election to be over for sure!

  5. Bahaha! Cracking up over that last one. I definitely understand the need to just get the little one out of the house and contain them in a cart! Lol. I think Logan has been to Target an absurd number of times in his short life. Oops. Hope you have a great day!
