So, as I was picking up my favorite clarifying shampoo at CVS the other day, I got to thinking about my favorite drugstore beauty products; both ones I've used forever and ones I've recently tried and loved.
Here are my top drugstore beauty products:
Like I said, this is my favorite clarifying shampoo! I use it once a week (typically on Saturdays) to remove all of the product build-up from my hair. It really does rival Bumble & Bumble's Sunday Shampoo.
The Wet Brush is my absolute favorite brush! I tease my hair daily, and this brush is the only brush I've ever tried that A) Gets the tangles out completely and B) Does it without hurting my hair super badly.
I have combination skin, meaning it's oily in my T-Zone and normal in other places, while still having some dry flakes across my nose. It's a real joy, let me tell y'all. But with that, I tend to break out often in my T-Zone, and I have tried a ton of both high- and low-end face washes…and this one is my favorite! Not only does it remove my makeup at night, I feel like it really cleans my face and helps control and prevent breakouts. I love it!
Biana introduced me to this cleansing water and it's awesome! I use it after I wash my face at night and it removes anything left behind and of course, any lingering eye makeup. And the best part is? I used to use two separate products: an eye makeup remover and a toner, and this cleansing water kills two birds with one stone. It's great!
Along the lines of the face wash, this moisturizer works great on my combination skin. It mattifying effect to help cut down on shine, but doesn't leave my skin feeling (or looking) oily at the end of the day.
I've told y'all about my love for Vaseline before, but I really love it! It's so multi-purpose: I use it as a deep moisturizer on my hands and feet, but also on my lips when they're super chapped and as an eye makeup remover when I'm wearing major waterproof eye makeup.
This is my favorite concealer ever! It definitely rivals YSL's Touche Éclat concealer to me, and actually covers better (without being too thick). I have dark circles and uneven skin, and this completely covers it all! I just use a concealer brush after dabbing it under my eyes and on any problem areas and blend.
I used Clinique's Bamboo Pink lipstick forever, but recently found this one and love it even more! It's a softer finish and lasts longer!
This lotion not only smells amazing, but it really does moisturize without being too greasy. I feel like it truly does deeply moisturize my skin and I use it daily after my shower and it leaves my skin soft and smooth.
I have used this eyeliner for years! It lasts all day long, yet washes off easily when I wash my face at night. I have tried other brands, but keep coming back to this one.
So what about you? What are your favorite drugstore beauty buys?
