Happy Friday, y'all!

We have a busy weekend ahead and I'm just trying to mentally prepare for the craziness of it all! Brandon has been traveling out of state on business all week (with the president of his company, no less) and gets back this afternoon; and we have to leave a couple of hours after he gets home to attend his brother's rehearsal dinner. Brandon's playing golf with the other groomsmen and all the men in his family tomorrow morning, and then the wedding is tomorrow night. And then, we have a post-wedding brunch on Sunday at my in-law's. I'm tired just thinking about it! Whew! (And yay for what I call "FFF": forced family fun!) Haha! ;)

ANYway, on to the fun stuff, right?!

Thank y'all for your sweet comments, texts, emails, etc. yesterday! Y'all sure know how to make a girl feel special! (And I love how much some of us have in common!)

I kind of kicked off my birthday celebrations myself on Wednesday while Walker was at Mother's Day Out, and it was nice to just relax and have some downtime. We technically celebrated my birthday last weekend since Brandon had to travel on business this week, but I "had" to do a little something for myself this week, right?! ;)

I went to Einstein's to have a bagel and some coffee (ALONE) and it was so nice to just sit, relax and peruse Pinterest for my friend Laura, who is getting married in November. (I'm so excited to be a bridesmaid in her gorgeous wedding in the Texas Hill Country!)

When the nail salon opened, I popped next door for a much-needed manicure and pedicure, and I loved sitting in that chair for a little over an hour getting pampered. (And oh my gosh, that massage felt heavenly on my fat pregnant feet/ankles!)

And speaking of birthday, I had a lot of Old Navy Super Cash burning a hole in my wallet that just so happened to begin use yesterday, and so I decided to stop by the store before my doctor's appointment. I was able to find so much cute stuff (especially workout stuff for post-baby; theirs is the best!) and what a fun little birthday shopping treat!

After Jenn blogged about them a while ago, I finally decided to try the Skinny Buffalo Chicken Stuffed Sweet Potatoes making their way around Pinterest. I was a little wary of the whole recipe at first -- especially after I tasted all the ingredients separately -- but once we mixed them all together, it was absolutely delicious! Brandon even got seconds, which he only does if something's truly good. So we'll definitely be adding these to our rotation. (Thank you, Jenn!)

My mother-in-law gave Walker this LeapFrog DVD set for Easter and I was a little skeptical about it at first since he really doesn't watch too much TV other than "Mickey Mouse Clubhouse," and his newfound movie love, "Dumbo", but y'all, we LOVE IT! We started with "The Letter Factory," which teaches little ones the phonetic sounds letters make, and after just a week of watching it while I get ready in the mornings, Walker can tell you what sound each letter of the alphabet makes! (But seriously, I sing the song they use to teach them the sounds in my sleep. Not even joking.) I've been recommending this little set to my girlfriends who have little ones and of course had to recommend it to y'all, too!

I don't know about y'all, but I'm absolutely loving blue and white for this spring and summer. It's such a fresh, light, airy look! I've been slowly incorporating some into my spring/summer post-baby wardrobe, and these three photos have been my inspiration (thanks totally to Pinterest!):

I hope y'all have great weekends! I'll be back with our {busy} weekend recap on Monday!
