Thoughts for Thursday: Easy Strawberry Bread Recipe

Happy Thursday, friends! It's been a rainy, nasty week here, so what better to cheer me up than a yummy, easy recipe for Strawberry Bread?! 

My Mom makes this recipe often and it's absolutely delicious! I was craving it the other day and texted her for the recipe, which I promptly made last week. It's not too sweet, which I love, so it makes this bread perfect for breakfast, an after-dinner treat or even a midnight snack. ;)

You probably have 99% of these ingredients already in your kitchen, so let's get baking!  

Easy Strawberry Bread

3 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. salt 
2 (10 oz.) pkgs. frozen, sliced strawberries, thawed (NOT drained)
1 c. vegetable oil
4 eggs, well beaten 

-Grease two loaf pans and preheat oven to 350*. 
-Combine all dry ingredients and mix well in a large bowl. 
-Form a small well (hole) in the center of the dry ingredients mixture and pour in all liquid ingredients. 
-Pour batter into greased pans and bake for 50-60 minutes (or until a tester comes out clean in center).

  6. This looked SO good when you were making it! We have this one poppysead bread we always have out when people stay over but it would be nice to switch it up sometimes with something like this!
