Friday!

Friday, you're here!

-ONE-
I'm so happy Brandon is coming home from a week-long trade show today! #allthepraisehandemojis

He has had to travel a lot so far this year and I've been a single parent quite often (shout out to all you full-time single moms -- y'all rock!) and am just super tired and ready for April 15 when our  own version of March (and April) Madness are over!

-TWO-
So our new carpet was installed this week and I love it! Yes, I realize that makes me an official grown-up to be excited about new carpet, but I guess that's the joys of home ownership and getting older. ;)

I had hated our former carpet since we bought this house 3.5 years ago (white, old, worn down, and looked/felt dirty -- no matter how much I cleaned it), but it just wasn't in our budget when we moved in to change it. So here we are, 3.5 years later and we have new carpet! It's not necessarily the most high-end choice since we know this isn't our "forever home," but it's a big improvement and will help us when we decide to sell. And most of all, it's so soft, comfy and CLEAN!

Here is a before (left) and after (right):

-THREE-
I ordered these slippers for the hospital, and I'm officially in love! (And I promise I'll do an updated "What's in My Hospital Bag" soon!)

-FOUR-
Speaking of things I ordered, definitely bought this dress for post-baby and I love it, too! It's going to be great for my post-baby body and for how warm it stays in Texas until at least mid-October! The color is a brighter pink than what it appears onscreen, and I think it will look perfect with my nude wedges and turquoise Kendra Scott jewelry.

-FIVE-
I've found the cutest stuff for the boys on Zulily lately! I mean, how cute is this Easter basket and liner and smocked outfit for next Easter for Baby Boy #2?! (Need an invite for Zulily? Click here!)

-SIX-
And there's a #6 today! Influenster was so sweet to send me the new Quaker Cranberry Almond Breakfast Flats to try out, and let me be totally honest and say that we actually really enjoyed them! They weren't crunchy like other granola-type bars can be, and the flavor was pretty darn good. I let Walker try a bite and he kept saying, "More bite?" I'll definitely be purchasing these to keep in our diaper bag for a mid-morning snack (or when mama needs a little afternoon pick-me-up)!

Have a lovely weekend, y'all!
