Friday + A Giveaway!

Happy Friday, y'all! We've had a busy week where we've just been go-go-go, and our weekend is going to be the exact same. So let's get to this, shall we?

I have a fun little review + giveaway at the bottom of this post, so be sure to keep reading on for that!

-ONE-
All of these President's Day sales are killing me! I already went a little crazy in Carter's earlier this week picking up sweet spring clothes for Walker, and I've been eyeing some super cute things at Old Navy and J.Crew lately for myself. {ON is really knocking it out of the park these days.} But alas, I'm six months pregnant and just can't justify spending that money for myself right now when I practically live in maternity leggings every day. Le sigh. But if I weren't pregnant, here's what I'd snatch up in a heartbeat:

-TWO-
Please tell me y'all are watching "The Bachelor." I'm sorry if I'm about to spoil Monday's episode for any of you saving it on your DVR to watch this weekend, but seriously: THANK YOU, BEN HIGGINS FOR LETTING OLIVIA GO! That chick was a nut and she seriously made Texas girls look bad! Brandon and I {yes, he watches it with me; his commentary is hilarious} were dying laughing at her just standing on the island, cankle-deep in sand, while the helicopters circled her for the shot. Poor thing, that was sadly hilarious. I wonder how long they made her stand there? And Leah? Yikes! The reunion show is sure to be a fun one for her! #sarcasm

-THREE-
Someecards never fail to make me giggle, and this one was no exception:

-FOUR-
This sweet boy had his first Build-A-Bear experience on Tuesday and it was absolutely precious! He really wanted to keep giving his teddy bear, who he named Buddy, a "bath" and "dry his hair." I die from the cuteness of him carrying Buddy around and reminding me often that he "got Buddy a hot {heart}" and "did bow-dyer" and "got Buddy a bass {bath}." #allthehearteyes

We're trying to do some fun, special activities with him before Baby Brother arrives soon!

-FIVE-
Valentine's Day is this weekend! We have never been big celebrators, but I think we'll make a homemade heart-shaped pizza and exchange some cards and chocolates and call it a day. But, we love gifting Walker with a little something on Valentine's Day as an extra little way to show him {and tell him} how much we love him! Check out my list of little gifts for the tiny ones in your life; most of these are from Amazon, and if you're a Prime member, they should be here by Sunday if you order this morning! ;)

And now for the fun stuff: the review + giveaway!

A few days ago, the sweet folks at SwaddleDesigns reached out to me about reviewing their muslin swaddle blankets, and of course I was on board because we're having precious baby boy #2 in just three short months! They were kind enough to send me two of their precious muslin swaddles in panda bear and hedgehog prints; one word: adorable!

Not only are these muslin swaddles just cute to boot and a perfect size {not those teeny blankets that do absolutely nothing when you try to swaddle}, they're also made from high-quality cotton, meaning they're soft and only get softer with each wash. As a busy mom of {almost two} boys, I can appreciate that because we do a lot of laundry around here!

But what probably impressed me the most -- well, two things impressed me the most, so here's the first thing -- is that SwaddleDesigns includes an innovative 123 Swaddle® pictorial instructional label sewn to the edge of their swaddling blankets. Why did that impress me? Because I'm totally that mom who never, ever can swaddle the right way. Brandon was always a better swaddler than me, as much as I hate to admit it! So, the little instructional label totally makes me look like I know what I'm doing. ;) {If you're like me and need a how-to-swaddle refresher, just click here!} And, I love that the company was founded by a RN, designer and mom of two. So not only is their founder well-respected in the medical community, I completely trust her designing safe, easy-to-use swaddle blankets with both babies and mamas in mind.

So: here's the best part! SwaddleDesigns was sweet enough to let me give away one of their muslin swaddle blankets {open to U.S. and Canada residents only}. In order to win, use the Rafflecopter tool below. I'll announce the winner next week. Good luck!

  8. Oh my goodness I'm so glad Olivia is gone!!! She was really getting on my nerves! I thought she was going to swept out to sea - I definitely wouldn't have agreed to stand there with the Atlantic ocean raging right behind her. That is so adorable you took Walker to Build-a-Bear - so sweet!

  9. All these sales are so tempting!! I'm glad Olivia is gone but I feel bad for her :( I know they edit stuff a lot and always edit someone to be the villain. I think she's got some issues to work on though! Leah, however, was obviously just a mean girl. Can't wait to watch Women Tell All!! This season has been entertaining for sure :) Walker & his bear are so cute!
