Thoughts for Thursday: My Recent Favorite Beauty Buys

This Thursday, I thought I'd share some of my recent favorite beauty buys. For those of you who follow me on Snapchat {brittwhit87}, you saw my quick roundup of these over the Christmas holidays, but I wanted to share again here for those of you who don't follow me and hadn't seen it on this space.

one || two || three

four || five

-ONE-
I have loved this lotion since I was in college and smelled it at a cute boutique store in Houston. If you've ever smelled it, I'm sure you'll agree with me. It's basically gardenias meets spring meets gloriousness. Brandon gifted it to me in my stocking for Christmas, and I try to only use it once a week to ration it. Ha! I seriously love the way it smells.

-TWO-
As y'all know, I've been a die-hard Clinique Bamboo Pink fan since I started wearing make-up, practically. The color just works so well with my skin tone and lasts forever. But when I saw this color on a girl I follow on Instagram, I had to see for myself if it looked as good on me as it did on her. I thought, "We have similar complexions, plus it's $6 and some change, so why not?" And y'all, I'm so glad I hit the "Order" button on Amazon for this bad boy! It's an awesome color {so, so similar to Bamboo Pink, just a little lighter, which will be perfect for springtime} and it lasts just as long! I will definitely be purchasing this again and again.

-THREE-
I got a sample of this with a recent Sephora order and fell in love with it immediately, so of course I had to buy the full-size once my little sample was out. It really does make your makeup stay on all. day. long. And for someone like me whose makeup is usually halfway gone by the time 5 p.m. rolls around, this is a great buy! Just spray it in a "T" and "X" motion on your face once you're finished with your makeup. I am definitely impressed with it!

-FOUR-
I saw this on Kate's Snapchat or Periscope or something or another a while back and decided to try it, and I'm so glad I did. I have very fine, thin hair and I love to tease it to oblivion {as y'all know}. I have trouble with hairsprays either being too firm and crunchy, or too light and flexible. {And I really despise some cheap brands of hairspray that make your hair feel wet…yuck}. So, when I tried this hairspray, I knew immediately it was a winner. It holds very well -- all day, in fact -- but I can still brush it out and not feel like I have icky hair. Plus, I love it because it helps me get that good second- {and even third-} day hair to stay in a cute bun.

-FIVE-
On the same vein as the hairspray, Kenra's root lifter is great for girls like me with fine, thin hair who want a good boost at the crown. I'm not ridiculously keen on the smell {and perhaps that's because I'm pregnant and have the nose of a bloodhound right now}, but it disappears with drying and really works. Just section your hair off and spray at the roots, especially near the crown and anywhere you want -- and need -- extra "oomph."

So have any of y'all tried any of these products? What did y'all think?
