Thoughts for Thursday: My Favorite Movie Homes

I love movie homes. If a movie is set in a beautiful, unique or otherwise interesting home, I'm guaranteed to be hooked. So when I saw an article that Town & Country Magazine recently tweeted about the real-life cost of favorite movie homes, it got me thinking about my favorite movie homes. 

 I absolutely love these -- both inside and outside…even if some of the interiors are filmed on a soundstage. ;)

    These are all amazing! I loved the house in The Holiday, and the beach house in Something's Gotta Give is beautiful! Home Alone house is such a classic :)

    I love this post! Aunt Charlotte's plantation house in The Patriot is one of my all time favorite houses in a movie! Now that I have a mortgage though, I am always wondering how much those houses would cost in real life haha Funny how perspective changes as we get older!

    All of these houses are beautiful!! I absolutely LOVE Father of the Bride 1 & 2. Anytime I see those on tv, I have to stop and watch even though I've seen them 100 times and they always make me cry lol

    I loved the house from Father of the Bride when I was growing up and have always dreamed of a house that looks similar to it! Of course, Home Alone is a favorite too, because who didn't (and maybe still does) want to be a part of the McAllister family? I mean they couldn't keep up with the kids they have, so they probably won't notice one extra haha!

    The house from It's Complicated is GORGEOUS and I secretly wish they would do an It's Complicated 2 so we can see the remodeled version!

    I was also obsessed with Monica and Chandler's apartment from Friends and the Tanner House on Full House
