Weekending

Happy Monday!

I hope y'all had a wonderful Thanksgiving with your families and/or friends and were able to enjoy the long weekend! We definitely kept it low-key with a visit to Louisiana on Thanksgiving Day to have lunch with my Mom's side of the family, then came back home to rest and relax. I'd been feeling pretty under the weather with a nasty cold, so having four days at home with no obligations was just what the doctor ordered.

I don't have too many pictures…but that's probably because we were complete lazy bums at home wearing sweatpants all weekend. It was in the upper 30's and pouring down rain all weekend, so we had nothing to do and nowhere to be! ;)

But aside from family time, our weekend pretty much looked like this:

We introduced Walker to one of our family traditions: making Brandon's grandmother's long-passed-down tea cakes! To be honest, the little man ate more flour than anything {ew}, but he loved it nonetheless. And we have yummy treats to enjoy with an afternoon cup of tea!

We also introduced Walker to the famous Desperado's Tacos, of which he loved! Desperado's is a Dallas establishment, and it's located just a mile from the apartment we lived in before and during our first few years of marriage. We used to eat at Desperado's every Friday night, so it was fun taking Walker there for the first time! {Too bad I couldn't have one of their amazing margaritas; only 5 1/2 more months! Ha!}

Can't wait to read all about your weekends!
