Weekending

Happy Monday, and Happy Thanksgiving Week! We had a super relaxing weekend, which was much-needed before the hustle and bustle of the holiday season begins later this week.

Linking up with Biana and Meghan today for "Weekending"

-FRIDAY-
Walker slept all night in his big-boy room! Granted, I was up all night checking on him and had to go lay with him around midnight, but he did it! So of course that called for donning some fun sunnies Brandon brought back with him from Las Vegas. {Oh yeah, did I mention Brandon was in Las Vegas last week? Sadly, it was for work and he was at the convention center the majority of the time, but Vegas nonetheless! #jealous}

We met up with my sweet friend Ashley and her daughter Caroline at a local park to let the kids play; ran a few errands; and got lunch at Chick-fil-A. Walker and I both started to feel under the weather with a cold, so we laid low for the remainder of the day.

I made a super yummy dinner, then I called it a really early night because I wasn't feeling well at all. Being pregnant and being sick really is not fun.

-SATURDAY-
Brandon let me sleep in a little bit and made pancakes for breakfast. We had a really relaxing morning watching College GameDay all bundled up by the Christmas tree and our first fire of the season! {I get a little giddy seeing a fourth stocking hung up this year!}

We ran a few errands and came back home to take naps and watch college football on TV. I made another yummy dinner, and we watched our Baylor Bears beat those Oklahoma State Cowboys on the road with our third string quarterback!!! SIC 'EM!!!

-SUNDAY-
We went to church and heard an awesome sermon from our pastor, then came home for lunch, naps and football. Walker took a three-hour nap, and we actually had to wake him up! While he napped, Brandon and I napped on the couch watching the Cowboys' victory {finally!}.

I made this super easy Crock Pot supper, got some things done around the house, and we were complete bums for the remainder of the evening. It was perfect!

I hope y'all had wonderful weekends, too! I can't wait to read about them. Happy Thanksgiving Week!
