What's Hap-"pinning" Wednesday

Hey y'all! I'm back for another "What's 'Hap-pinning' Wednesday" with Jessi and Jenn

To be honest, I'm a little thrown off this week! Walker and I left Sunday morning to make the 3.5-hour drive south to visit my parents. Since we usually leave on a Friday and come home on a Sunday, I'm having to remind myself that today is Wednesday and not Monday! I'm telling you, totally thrown off.

Anyway, we drove down Sunday morning, quickly stopped for a bite to eat, and then Walker took a {very brief} 30-minute nap in the car on the way down.

Once we got there, we went out on my parents' boat since the weather in Texas still feels like summer!

I absolutely love waking up to their beautiful lake view!

Monday morning, my Dad {who is a volunteer fireman in my hometown}, took Walker for a ride in a fire truck. By the look on his face, you can tell he thoroughly enjoyed it!

I'm definitely framing this sweet picture of my Dad and Walker. :)

In addition to all of that, we had dinner at my grandparents' house; I attended my town's annual "Power of Pink" luncheon to raise awareness for breast cancer; and we got to spend some much-needed time with my family.

That's what's "hap-pinning" with us! I can't wait to hear what's happening with y'all!
