Weekending

We had one of those weekends where just nothing was going right: I backed out of the driveway on Friday and knocked my passenger side mirror off on the side of the garage, and we had to spend way too much money having that replaced on Friday afternoon; I promised Walker the local Splash Pad, and of course it was closed for an event {and the subsequent one I tried was closed until 11 a.m. -- three hours from the time we tried to go}, he started bawling for the "pooh" and I ended up at my in-law's house, where he proceeded to swim for seriously 10 minutes; we received news that my great-uncle passed away; and by Friday night, I was just done

It was seriously a comedy of errors. I eventually just had to laugh! So, since we had to just hit the reset button on Saturday morning, here are a few snippets of our very low-key weekend:

Splishin' and splashin' at a local Splash Pad {that was open this time}

Spotted some pumpkins at Kroger -- fall is coming!

Also, a big congratulations to Jordan E. for winning my eBody giveaway! Jordan, if you'll please email me your mailing address at brittany.w.blog@gmail.com, I'll get these products sent to you!

Here's to a {hopefully} much better week -- my fingers are crossed! I can't wait to read about y'all's weekends!

  1. Aww girl, I'm sorry the weekend started off going so off course! Hopefully the start to the week goes better! It looks like there were some cute and fun moments amongst the annoying ones at least :)

  3. It really stinks when weekends start off rough. I'm glad the rest of your weekend turned around! I am so excited about seeing pumpkins and fall decor everywhere. I just wish Mississippi understood that it doesn't have to be 90 degrees every day anymore. Haha. :)
