Happy Monday! We had a great weekend spending time with our little family. Texas got a little snap of fall over the weekend, and that, my friends, was a breath of fresh air. {Literally!}

Linking up with Biana and Meghan today

Walker and I met one of my sweet college friends, Stacy, and her sweet kiddos Silas and Marlee at the most precious kids' "museum" in Plano, called "Play Street." It's basically a tiny town for littles in an Adirondack-inspired village with little homes, complete with tiny kitchens; a grocery store, where they can go "shopping"; mini Adirondack chairs around a pretend fire pit; a station set up with moon sand and toys to play in it; and a full coloring station. It's geared just for children, and the kiddos loved it! {DFW-area moms, there are two locations -- one in Frisco and one in Plano -- and it's $11 per adult, while kids are free. They get a little wooden coin for a healthy snack after they play.}

It's only 15 minutes from our house, but this poor baby was out about five minutes into the drive. He played hard!

That night, Brandon and I enjoyed a rare, much-needed date night, thanks to our church's Parents Night Out! We dropped off the little man in the nursery and headed for dinner at a local restaurant, followed by a walk-through Best Buy to peruse their MacBooks. {What exciting lives we lead. Ha!}

A glorious cool front blew through, dropping our hot and humid temperatures into the low 80s with no humidity and not a cloud in the sky! It was a nice introduction to fall, and even though it's supposed to be back up in the 90s this week, I hope this weather hurries back.

We walked a half-mile down to our neighborhood park and let Walker play for a good while on Saturday morning.

I'd had a two-day-long migraine and have started with the beginnings of a sinus infection {ugh}, so I took a 1.5-hour nap while Walker did, too. It was nice to sleep it off and just rest!

We spent a lot of time outside Saturday, and I made a quick trip to the grocery store for ingredients for these Chocolate Chip Pumpkin Muffins. {They're amazing!} We had them for dessert after dinner, and even for breakfast, too!

Brandon and I watched the Baylor game after we laid Walker down for the night, and then went to bed before the game was even over. #weareold

We went to church, came home and had leftovers for lunch, and then Walker took a 2.5-hour nap {!!!} while we watched NFL football and I took a little cat nap on the couch. We took Walker to play at a local park and to DFW Founder's Plaza, and then watched the Cowboys play while eating a simple, yummy dinner. All in all, the perfect Sunday!

I hope y'all had great weekends! Can't wait to read all about them!
