Friday!

Happy Friday, y'all! I hope you had a great week! Let's get to this:

-ONE-
We made it through our first full week of being at home! It was definitely an adjustment, but I'm loving more time with Walker. Of course, I'm such an organizational freak, I have written and re-written schedules for both of us so we have some consistency to our days. We played with taking away Walker's morning nap, but my active little guy made it quite clear he still needed it! So, all of that to say, it was just a lot of trial-and-error, but we'll get it! In the meantime, we have had lots of fun playing with chalk {and chalking all over himself, my car, me, the garage floor…}; visiting some local play places with friends; going to the library; taking walks; playing outside, doing a little bit of "Tot School" and joining a Gymboree Play & Music class.

-TWO-
I bought this "blardigan" from Nordstrom and an officially obsessed with it. It is so comfy, soft and is the perfect length to be able to wear with leggings and still have my bum covered. Now, if the weather in Texas would just get cool enough so I can wear it…

-THREE-
I'm still pretty obsessed with "Friday Night Lights" and have been going to bed way too late for my liking this week because we've been binge-watching it. We're almost through the first season, and can I please say that Lyla's father drives me crazy?! And all these girls are loving them some Tim Riggins, but I'm googly-eyed over Coach Taylor! ;) {Why did I wait so long to watch this show…?}

-FOUR-
I have told y'all about my love for Ebates before, but seriously y'all, I'm obsessed. All you do with Ebates is go to www.ebates.com, type the name of the store you're wanting to buy something from {e.g. Old Navy, Amazon, Nordstrom, etc.} and it shows you how much cash back per purchase they're offering. You click that, it opens the site in a new page, and voil√†: you have earned cash back on your purchase! They send you a check once a quarter, and I like to tell myself I'm just saving us money! Ha! In six short months, I have earned $67.56 just by going through Ebates to shop online -- which is practically the only way I shop these days. Seriously, it's the best. Click here to sign up; it's totally free and who doesn't like a little extra spending money {or "mad money" as my grandparents and great-grandparents called it}?!

-FIVE-
I tried to clean out my closet this week, and it just was a disaster. Figuratively, not literally. I couldn't seem to part with hardly anything! Do any of y'all do this?! I seriously felt like this:

Have a great weekend!

    1. I'm glad I'm not the only one! I wish we could drop the morning nap so he would take a longer afternoon nap, but our little Energizer Bunny just needs to reset for about 1.5 hours in the morning! :)

  2. I am the opposite with closet cleaning! I throw everything out and then regret it later. Its equally a disaster ;)

  5. Totally agree on the closet clean out normally but this year I am having no mercy. If I haven't worn it and can't come up with an outfit for it, out it goes! It's hard but I'm just so tired of our closet being messy :) So glad your first week at home went well! FNL....you know I'm obsessed. Coach Taylor is awesome but I promise you'll fall in love with Tim Riggins, Saracen, and some others not even on the show yet too!

  6. Haha. I've been purging clothing I've had around for years, and I'm totally doing it QUICKLY before I change my mind. I normally have the issue of keeping it all, but I'm in purging mode.

FNL is so addicting. I finished the series a few weeks ago and I want more. :-(

Looks like some fun times with your little guy!

  7. I have a blardigan as well (although I never knew it was called that until now!) and I love it. It's so comfortable and it goes with just about everything.

The pictures of your son are adorable! Have a great weekend!

    1. Haha I didn't know it was called that, either, until around the Nordstrom sale when people kept calling it that. It is so comfy and soft!
