Weekending

Happy Monday! I'm officially on my summer schedule at work starting today, and I couldn't be more excited. I'm definitely looking forward to my Fridays off, that's for sure!

I'm linking up with Biana and Meghan today.

I had Friday off, and Brandon had his summer half day, so we headed to my hometown after lunch for my brother's graduation.

We got there before dinner, and just played around before we met everyone for a family dinner at my grandmother's house.

Saturday was Parker's big day! Brandon stayed at home with Walker, because there was no way a 16-month-old would have sat through a graduation ceremony. Brandon was happy to oblige, and he and Walker took naps, played and just relaxed while we were all at the ceremony.

We are so proud of my brother, Parker, who graduated in the Top 10% of his class! He'll carry on the family tradition and head to Baylor in the fall. {Sic 'Em!}

And now for the myriad of graduation day photos...

Since my Dad is on the School Board, he got to give Parker his diploma. Such a sweet, special moment!

My mom and her best friend, Amy, hosted a beautiful lunch for Parker and Amy's son {Parker's best friend}, Davis, after graduation. It was such a sweet luncheon and the food was delicious!

We hit the road to come back to Dallas afterward and spent the weekend cleaning, doing laundry and just other weekending things. Brandon and I were so exhausted that we went to bed last night at 8:30 p.m. I seriously think we might try to make that a weekly thing, because never have we felt more rested!

I hope y'all have a great week!
