What to Wear Wednesday: Easter Outfits

Welcome to the third edition of What to Wear Wednesday!

So, Easter is this Sunday - can you believe it!? Easter means spring and spring means warmer weather and prettier, brighter clothes. The weather here in Texas is already in the upper 70s and low 80s, and it's going to be in the 100-degree range before we know it! Poor Gentel lives in Boston, and it's still 30 degrees and there's snow on the ground. I'm sorry for you, friend! I will think of you while you're wearing a coat on Sunday! ;)

I always think of bright dresses and/or a beautiful white dress when I think of Easter Sunday. One of my favorite things to do is look around the sanctuary and see all of the different colors represented that day. {In addition to all the seersucker!} My dress this year is a coral color, and I can't wait to wear it.

I like to ensure that my dress is appropriate {i.e. no strapless, and if strapless I wear a cardigan} and that it's light and bright. I'm also a huge sucker for eyelet on Easter, too.

So, here are some of my favorite dresses to wear on Easter Sunday. And guess what? They're all still available, so hurry and scoop them up! You still have time!

Do you have your dress for Easter yet? I can't wait to see what everyone wore! {Especially sweet baby girls...I love me some smocking and a bonnet! :)}

As a reminder, we will be posting style ideas for a specific event once a month. We plan to do a mix of both special events and everyday occasions from how to mix prints to what to wear to a wedding. Is there a particular look you want ideas on styling? Leave us a comment or shoot either of us an email; we are happy to incorporate it!

  1. I am going to pick up a dress on Friday - - and get this, you are going to love it! My husband is letting me buy him an outfit. So he can look appropriate at the Easter Christening we are going to. I AM DYING. I AM SO EXCITED. All three of us - looking like we actually CAME together. Amazing. I can't wait. Spending HOURS at Old Navy on Friday! hehehehe

  2. Love that fuschia color! And I love me some eyelet for spring too. Can't wait to dress up baby for Easter next year!
