I love Mondays when I don't have to be at work!

We had such a great, relaxing weekend {which we needed} full of family time {which we needed}. So, let's get to it, shall we?

I cooked an easy, yummy supper and we all just relaxed. Brandon and I caught up on a few episodes of "Orange is the New Black" and went to bed super early after having not been asleep until about 11 p.m. all week!

Walker slept in until about 7:30 a.m., and we all just lazed around for the morning. I started some laundry and cleaned up around the house. And apparently my little Pete Repeat has been watching mama clean around the house, because I looked over and he was "dusting" the table with a paper towel. Ha!

That afternoon, Walker got his very first haircut! Poor little guy was looking a little shaggy and practically had a mullet. Exhibit A:

We went to this cute little kids' hair salon that only does kid's cuts, and it was so cute! The hair stylist gave him a bunch of puzzles and fire trucks to play with while she cut his hair, and they have Disney movies playing on a screen in the front of the kids. Walker did SO great and didn't cry once. I was prepared for a meltdown, so I was pleasantly surprised. I will say I did get a little teary watching him sit there like such a big boy and thinking about how far we have come in one year!

And here's the after! He looks like SUCH a big boy to us now. {Sniff, sniff!}

The weather was absolutely gorgeous in North Texas this weekend, so we spent a ton of time outside. When we got home from Walker's hair cut, we took him outside to play on his play set his Foxy and Papa {my parents} got him for Christmas.

I took the time to experiment with the new camera they got us, so it was playtime for everyone. ;)

Brandon took the camera and captured this gem while Walker and I were playing. I absolutely love this picture and am so thankful that Brandon took it!

That night, we drove to Fort Worth for my little cousin's 12th birthday party celebration. My aunt has a catering/bakery/cooking business {go check her out!} and the food was nothing short of spectacular. Even her spaghetti, homemade meatballs, salad, garlic bread and homemade brownies and ice cream are amazing. Puts my Prego spaghetti sauce to shame!

We spent the day outside again! We had to run a few errands, and then Walker surveyed my dead-from-winter plants while Brandon grilled us steaks for a late lunch.

I'm enjoying a Monday off from work with the little man before a CRAZY busy week this week. I hope y'all have a wonderful day!
