Oh, Monday. It was such a lovely weekend; how unexcited I am to see you!

Linking up with Biana and Meghan today, per usual. :)

I had to work an event Friday night, so I picked up Walker from school early Friday afternoon. Of course, he went to sleep about halfway through our drive home, so once we pulled into the driveway, I got my laptop out and finished working while he finished his nap!  A mom's gotta do what a mom's gotta do!

My mother-in-law watched Walker for the hour between me leaving for my event and Brandon getting home from work, which was great because I knew he was in good hands. My event went well and I was able to sneak out early and come home at a decent hour, thankfully!

Walker woke up a bit after 7 a.m. Brandon leaned over in bed, kissed my forehead and said, "I've got him; you keep sleeping." That was seriously the best gift ever!

I woke up around 7:45 a.m. {sleeping in these days sure has changed, ha!} to Brandon's homemade pumpkin cinnamon rolls, scrambled eggs with a side of salsa {only in Texas!}, coffee and orange juice. It was such a treat, especially because I rarely eat breakfast. I'm typically your two-cups-of-coffee kind of girl.

We had lunch at Market Street {of course!} and then took Walker to his very first pumpkin patch! The weather was absolutely GORGEOUS and completely fall-like. Walker absolutely loved the patch, and Brandon and I were so impressed with the quality of the pumpkin patch, which is located very close to my office. {Special thanks to my friend Liz for telling me about this place!}

The pumpkin patch had every photo opportunity laid out for you with pumpkins, hay bales and props set up across the area; hay rides; train rides; giant hay bales to take photos on; pumpkins for sale; bounce houses; Fletcher's Corny Dogs and other yummy food; a playground and so much more. We have already decided this will be an annual tradition for us!

Walker loved pulling up on the pumpkins!

...and one more for good measure.

After the Pumpkin Patch, we watched an amazing day of college football! Sic 'Em Bears; Hotty Toddy and Hail State! {Not even sure I'm allowed to say those last two, but since my father-in-law went to Mississippi State, I guess I'm allowed an honorary "Hail State!"} So happy for Ole Miss beating Alabama and Mississippi State beating A&M...and of course my Baylor Bears for beating Texas!

Walker also had to model his fox jammies in honor of his Foxy {my mom}.

These are currently at Target and are precious!

We went to church, where I was asked to volunteer in the nursery once a month! I was really honored that our Children's Director would ask me, so of course I said "yes!" I'm excited to love on some sweet little babies!

After church, we had lunch, took a nap and then watched the Cowboys whoop up on the Texans! {Sic 'Em, Terrance Williams!} Walker decided to practice his standing and duck face techniques...

...and then he and I made a quick Target run while Brandon went to the gym.

Walker did a little light Sunday afternoon reading and I discovered a giant leak beneath my sink in our bathroom {POOP}. We're definitely having a plumber pay us a visit this week. Blah.

I hope you have a great Monday and a wonderful week!
