Happy Friday and Happy Halloween!

Per usual, I'm linking up with April, Christina, Darci and Natasha for "Five on Friday," Lauren for "High Five for Friday"; and Amy and Karli for "Oh Hey, Friday."

Let's get down to it!

After I worked so much last weekend, I have taken today off. And let me tell you, that is a glorious thing. Since Walker had Halloween-themed things to do at school today, I am taking him in and coming back to have a couple of hours to myself! On the agenda? Grocery shopping, a haircut, cleaning the house, doing laundry, getting things ready for trick-or-treating for tonight and maybe even a quick NAP!

Speaking of trick-or-treating, I am so excited that today is Walker's first Halloween! Little Man is going as a lion {complete with a mane and everything} and I can't wait to show y'all pictures of the cuteness on Monday. You can follow me on Instagram if you want a sneak peek before then!

We are going trick-or-treating and then heading to our church's fall festival. I can't wait to see how Walker reacts to the bajillion other kiddos in attendance and the petting zoo!

And after the little one goes to bed, it's our annual tradition of Baked Potato Soup, a glass of wine and not-so-scary movies on TV.

Dying over this cuteness!

Keeping on the Halloween train, I have put Walker in some Halloween PJs this week. Of course, he gets pretty dang fussy when it's nighttime and I try to take his picture, so these pictures of a {very wiggly} 9-month old will have to suffice!

"Boo" jammies from Old Navy {no longer on website}

Pumpkin jammies from Carter's {hand-me-downs from Walker's cousin}

I am really excited to try Annie from Home of Malone's Veal + Turkey Stuffed Meatballs! Brandon loves anything with meat in it {especially homemade meatballs}, so the ingredients for these are going on today's grocery list. Since the weather has gotten somewhat fall-like again, I think these will be a perfect, cozy meal for tomorrow night!

I have told y'all before how I'm more than a little obsessed with Loft's collarless utility seriously obsessed. I have a couple, and ordered this one the other day when they were having their 50% off everything sale. They were super great when I was still nursing and had to pump at work, and now that I'm not nursing, I'm still in love with their flawy, comfortable - yet professional - look. Run, don't walk, to Loft to get you a few! You won't regret it, I promise!

 Hope y'all have an excellent weekend!

  1. hi from the link up! Enjoy your first halloween with your fun!!

  2. Stopping by from the link up- have fun at his first Halloweeen! The lion costume is beyond cute!

  3. Enjoy the rest of your "day off!" I can't wait to see pics of Walker in his lion costume, so cute. And baby outfits with stuff on their butt is SO cute I can't handle it! Love it! Can't wait to dress up my little guy next year. Have a great weekend!

  4. Found you from the link up! That "day off" pic is SPOT ON. After returning from maternity leave, my new full time at work has been Mon-Thursday so I'm home with our baby on Fridays and my husband seems to think we lounge and play all day!! Not realizing that laundry is done, house is clean, groceries are shopped for, etc. when he gets home I guess?? haha Those mummy jammie are presh, and so is Walker!
