Friday!

Happy Friday, friends!

I'm linking up with April, Christina, Darci and Natasha for "Five on Friday"; Lauren for "High Five for Friday"; and Amy and Karli for "Oh Hey, Friday!"

-ONE-
My kid loves "All About That Bass." As in, will only dance to this song and this song only. Kid has moves! {And he did not get those from his mama!}

-TWO-
I'm attempting to make these treats {via Sally's Baking Addiction} this weekend for Walker's teachers using these free printables {via Fancy Ashley} for a little Halloween treat! I know they seem super easy, but I am not a baker in the least, so I'm sure I'll find some way to screw these up. Ha! Wish me luck!

-THREE-
I am dying to see "Gone Girl," but I haven't read the book. Have any of y'all seen it without reading the book? What did you think? {Hurry up on it, DirecTV Cinema!}

-FOUR-
Brandon got home last night from being away on business, and boy, were Walker and I excited to see him! He was at a tradeshow that will be held in Las Vegas next year, and I'm already thinking I'm going to need to tagalong on that trip! I've never been to Vegas and seriously can just envision myself with a cocktail {or four} by the pool.

And all I can think about when I talk about Las Vegas is the "Modern Family" episode where they go to Vegas. "Excelsior Plus!?"

-FIVE-
And, of course a picture of Walker to close out the day. Brandon picked up these {green and gold, of course} sensory balls for Walker when we were in Fredricksburg for $1. Of course these are now Walker's favorite toy. Seriously never buying expensive toys again.

I hope y'all have an excellent weekend!

  1. Love those moves! That's my little one's second favorite song only to shake it off! Gone Girl is awesome and it's actually one of the few times I wish I hadn't read the book. The movie will be way more thrilling if you don't know what to expect!

  7. That video of Walker dancing is hilarious! Love it. I've made something similar to those pretzel things at Christmas - be careful what pan you use. I used a less sturdy baking sheet and it 'popped' in the oven and they kind of went everywhere. If that makes sense.
