Chair Crush

We have this recliner in our living room that I despise. I'm not even going to take a picture of it because I despise it that much. I can't complain much, though, because my grandparents gave it to us when they got a new one. We used it in our apartment when we were first married, and when we made the move to our house a few years ago, it made the move with us, much to my chagrin.

Brandon loves it {seriously, what is it with men and La-Z-Boys?} and I will admit, it helped me rock Walker to sleep many a time. It also helped me feed him...and with a baby with reflux means our poor chair looks like it was in a major accident and spit-up was the culprit. See? Bad.

We're currently in the market for a new accent chair for our living room to replace the old, worn out, dirty recliner. {My brother, who will be going to college in August, will gladly get the recliner for his dorm room. Spit up stains will soon be replaced with Taco Cabana and some adult beverage stains, I'm sure of it.}

I'm currently obsessing over these six accent chairs {below} from One King's Lane and don't know if I'll ever be able to make a decision. I perused their accent chairs site and Chair Crush Pinterest board all afternoon yesterday and discovered I have a pattern, and that's nailhead trim. Seriously, I'm in love with it and can't get enough.

Brandon is definitely all about the leather and comfortability of the chair, while I'm more on the looks {and nailhead trim} side of things. Of course, we're planning to have another baby at some point, so the leather will be nice if we have another spitter-upper like Walker; you can just wipe off. Brandon will be the first to tell you that I'd live in an all-white palace if I could, but alas, I guess that's not feasible with babies, now is it? ;)

one // two

So, which of these do you like best? I'm leaning more towards #4, but I'd love to hear what you think! Be sure to check out One King's Lane the next time you're in the market to buy a new chair...or anything for your home, for that matter!

Happy Thursday, friends!
