Aussie Vox Box Review

I recently received my Vox Box from Influenster. Since it wasn't in a cute little box, I didn't take a photo, but just picture in your mind a rectangle cardboard box with two Aussie Products in it: Aussie Sprunch Spray and Aussie Instant Freeze Aerosol Hairspray

First, let's start with the Instant Freeze hairspray.
I have very fine, thin hair that is about shoulder length. I always tease it because A) I am from the south and that's what you do; B) I have a massive cowlick in the back that I need to disguise; and C) Because I think my hair looks better with a bit of "oomph." So, I always use hairspray...especially on the "bump!" I am used to using another soft-hold aerosol spray that I really like, so I will admit that I was hesitant to try this one. {I'm a creature of habit.} But, I did try it, and, like the name, it does "freeze!" I will say I did like the hold it gave, as well as the smell. But I didn't really like the film it left on my marble counters, and it did give some strands of my hair a crunchy look. But, it held very well and my bump didn't go anywhere all day.

Now, moving on to the Sprunch Spray!
My hair is straight as a board and has absolutely zero curl or wave to it. And I mean NONE. It is straight and straighter. So, because of that, I asked my friend Liz {who has a precious wave to her hair and can rock the loose, undone curls on a daily basis} to review the Sprunch Spray for me. Because if I used it, y'all, I would look like a wet dog.

Here are her thoughts:
This works great for using on wet hair versus styled hair! I love the smell, and I also love how I can go to bed with wet hair and then spray this on it in the morning. It works great for that casual curl look.

I received these products complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes.

  1. I have the same type of hair as you - stick straight! I need to start giving mine some more oomph like you do. Yours always looks so good!

  2. Great review! I agree with Brittany -- I have similar hair to yours and it could use more volume like yours looks like it has!
