A Bullet Point Blog Post

Bullet points today. Because, why not?

  • I am absolutely loving all of the recent pregnancy announcements from blogger "friends!" So excited for Aileen, Jessi and Brittany
  • I'm already listening to Christmas music. So, there's that.
  • Ulta has great customer service! I purchased a Chi there on Aug. 16, and it stopped working yesterday. Literally would not turn on when I plugged it in, and I tried multiple outlets throughout my house. So, I called their customer service number and they were able to track my purchase, email the receipt to the store where I purchased it, and I got a brand new straightener yesterday afternoon! Thank you, Ulta!
  • Kendra Scott, on the other hand? Notsomuch. I dropped one of my beloved black/gold Danielle earrings on the tile floor yesterday {everything broke yesterday} and the center shattered everywhere. I tweeted them and they wrote me back with their customer service email. So, I emailed them, explaining the earrings were a birthday gift and I broke one, asking if it would be possible for me to have it repaired or replaced. They told me I could purchase a new pair for half off. Ummm, what part of "these were a gift" do they not understand? Why would I want to purchase a new pair of earrings at half off when I didn't purchase them in the first place? To say I was miffed would be an understatement. {But I still love Kendra Scott...just not the customer service.}
  • We are going to try out the farmer's market near our house this weekend, and I'm already giddily excited about it. Does that officially make me old?
  • I was watching Tori Spelling's "True Tori" last night, and - fake or not - that show was a ball of sheer depression. I had to turn it off and just make myself go to bed. I miss the old "Tori and Dean" shows! I loved them.
  • Walker's convertible car seat came in last night, and the child is terrified of it. For someone who hates his infant car seat so much, you'd figure he'd be all about his convertible car seat but, yeah, no. We're going to have to figure this one out.
  • I am very obsessed with this post that Natasha posted about the awful website GOMI. I was cheering her on with every sentence I read.
  • Had to go to Target today to get another Cube. Yep, I was carrying a cube 'o' wine through Target at 12:30 p.m. today. High class.
So, there's my stream of consciousness/bullet point blog post for the day. Riveting stuff, I tell you. Riveting.

Have a great rest of your day!

  1. So many recent announcements! I'm loving it too :) There is no shame in carrying around a box of wine in the middle of the afternoon. No shame at all!
