Autumn Chopped Salad Recipe

This is one of my favorite new recipes; I would eat it every day for a week if I could!

My Nana made this for us when she came in town to visit us after Walker was born, and I ate about three helpings - chalking it up to the fact that I had just birthed a tiny human and was nursing for - what felt like - around the clock.

When I was meal planning the other day, I came across the recipe card for this I had haphazardly shoved into the back of my recipe notebook when my Nana left. When I saw it, I knew I had to make it. And stat.

We really enjoyed it, and I hope you do, too!

Autumn Chopped Salad

-1 container pre-washed Romaine blend lettuce
-2 green pears, sliced
-1 pkg. bacon, fried crisp and crumbled
-1 cup Craisins
-1 container crumbled goat cheese (can use feta)
-1/2 cup Brianna's Poppyseed Dressing
-1/2 cup Newman's Own Balsamic Vinaigrette
-Optional: sliced chicken breasts

1. Mix all together: lettuce, sliced pears, crumbled bacon, Craisins, crumbled goat cheese and sliced chicken breasts {if you use them}.
2. In a small bowl, mix the two salad dressings together and toss with the salad. Enjoy!
