What I'm Loving Lately

Happy Thursday! I hope you're having a wonderful day!

I thought I'd share some of the things I'm loving {and lusting after} these days.

one // two

I bought this shirt when I was pregnant with Walker, and I'm finally able to wear it now that I'm not pregnant {or breastfeeding}! It's the best, most versatile denim shirt I've ever owned. I wore it yesterday with white jeans and fun gladiator sandals, but it also looks cute with a leopard cardigan over it, along with black leggings and brown riding boots.

I want these cute glasses so badly! When we got engaged and I was registering, I was 22 and totally didn't know what I really wanted as far as glassware. {I do, however, love our formal stemware and glassware! It's Lenox Solitaire Platinum.} So, that said, I'm not in love with our every day glasses. They're heavy, I've dropped a couple and either broken or chipped them, and I'm just not a fan. I think these glasses are so cute and fun, and the little bee just adds an extra element to it.

I got this foundation as a sample when I made a recent purchase from Sephora, and I surprisingly loved it! It went on very smooth, lasted all day and the best part? It didn't melt off in the Texas summer heat. It's a little pricey, but I think I might have to purchase it once I'm out of my current foundation

I'm a habitual shampoo-changer, as I'm sure you've noticed. When I'm out of one, I try another brand to see if it works on my super fine, super thin hair or not. And this one does! I've used Phyto's volumizing spray before and it worked well, so I thought I'd try out their shampoo. I used it for the first time yesterday and was very impressed! It smells very good, and I paired it with their Hydration Express conditioner and I had really full hair! I swear that my hair becomes immune to shampoos after I've used them for a while, so the first day I change to a new one, I love my hair again.

And the best one of all! After living in our house for almost three years, we're finally updating our bathroom, one step at a time, of course! So, I'm really loving being able to peruse Pinterest and decide what I want to do for our bathroom.

When we moved into our house, the previous owners halfway did every. single. thing. For example, they put a nice granite and pretty backsplash in our kitchen, but left the cabinets the builder-grade oak with no fixtures. And our bathroom? Ugh. They updated half of the fixtures to brushed nickel, but left the other half - including the shower - ugly brass. {No offense if you like brass; it's just not my thing.}

So, since this isn't our "forever home" and we're likely selling it in 3-4 years to move to a home we hope to be in when our child{ren} grow up, we're updating things but not doing a full-on renovation…as much as we'd love to.

We're going to replace the old, brass framed shower to a seamless one; replace all of the fixtures in the bathroom; replace the marble {that has ugly shell sinks…ew} for a lighter granite and put in under-the-granite sinks; and frame the mirror. We're obviously doing this one step at a time since this stuff isn't cheap! But I'm really excited. And, our hope is that we'll get our ROI when we're ready to sell our house.

What are you loving lately?
