Mother's Day Weekend

I hope you all had a wonderful Mother's Day weekend! We had a great, busy weekend with our families and I definitely need another day, that's for sure!

Friday:
Walker's "school" had a Muffins for Mom in the morning, so I joined him {along with Liz and her daughter, Peyton} for muffins and orange juice! He had absolutely no idea what was going on, but that's okay; I did! :) It was so sweet.

Saturday:
Walker woke up so happy and cheery…and sideways in his bed. That kid!

We spent all day getting the house ready for our guests, doing laundry and some yard work, and Walker was such a trooper! He even went with us to vote in his adorable little collared shirt.

Saturday afternoon, my parents came in town for Mother's Day weekend and Walker's dedication at church on Sunday! Brandon and I had a Texas reception go for some college friends, so we left Walker with them to head to the Dallas Arboretum for the reception.

How beautiful is this view?!

Brandon and I enjoyed a nice date night out together {sans baby} and had so much fun catching up with people from college.

Sunday:
I celebrated my first Mother's Day! My Dad cooked my Mom and me breakfast, and Brandon and Walker gave me my gift: a gift card for a facial and beautiful flowers!

Sunday was Walker's dedication at church, so of course we had to take a few pictures before we left. My parents, one of my brothers, my sister, my aunt and Brandon's parents joined us at church for the event; it was so amazing to have so much familial support!

After church, we all came back to our house for an easy fajita lunch. I didn't do anything special: no place cards, no wedding china pulled out from the hutch in the dining room; no seating arrangements. Just an easy, casual, fun time spent with our families!

I hope you were able to celebrate all the amazing mamas in your life this weekend! Happy Monday!
