Five on Friday

Happy Friday to you! And thanks, as always, to the hostesses of this link-up: A. Liz Adventures, Carolina Charm, Hello! Happiness and [the good life blog]

-ONE-
I talked about this on Wednesday, but I'm more than a little obsessed with Drybar's Texas Tea Volumizing line of haircare: shampoo, conditioner and volumizing spray! I purchased it from Sephora when they were doing their big 15% off your entire purchase promotion, and I'm so glad I did. This stuff smells amazing! I love getting a whiff of my hair during the day - ha! I've mentioned my love for big Texas hair on this blog before, and this stuff delivers. Go getcha some!

-TWO-
I saw on April's blog about Red Stamp, and now I'm officially obsessed. It's a free app that lets you customize invitations, cards, etc. and send them via email right on the spot {for free}, or order hard copy invitations to physically mail. Of course, I've only sent them via email and just little cards with pictures of Walker to my parents and in-law's to say hello, but it's so fun and cute! And did I mention free?!

-THREE-
When I was trying to decide between two dresses to wear on Easter Sunday, I asked Brandon to help me make the final decision. Of course, it is me we're talking about, so they were both black. He came in the closet, looked at me dead in the eye and said, "Brittany. This is Easter, not a funeral. Don't you have a pastel or something? I mean, come on." Now, of course I do…but I just love black! {I'd probably be a good New Yorker, don't you think?} Anyway, I finally decided on this dress from Loft with some cute strappy {black} sandals, much to my husband's chagrin.

But Brandon and Walker will both be in pastels! So, yeah.

-FOUR-
As much as I hate to admit this, "Chrisley Knows Best" is my new favorite guilty pleasure TV show! It's such a mess, but I actually do think Todd - and some of his parenting choices - is quite funny. Especially when he threw his son's iPhone into the lake; or put a boot on his son's car; or has tracking devices in said cars. I made Brandon sit down and watch it with me on Sunday night and while I thought he would hate it, he did laugh out loud at some points - and that's saying a lot for my husband who always has comments about the Real Housewives franchises! Ha!

-FIVE-
My mom made and sent me these monogram shirts for my birthday and I am just in love with them! Of course, she did a green and gold one for Baylor…too cute for words! I can't wait to wear these.

Happy Friday and Happy {early} Easter to you! It's Friday, but Sunday's coming!

  2. Lol @ the dress story. I used to love black, but am venturing out into actual colours. I don't have an easter dress yet, oops! Ok, I think I really need to start watching that show, everyone is talking about it!

  3. I must be behind the times but I've never heard of Chrisley knows best. I am a RH and reality show fanatic so I must DVR. Have a great weekend!

  6. I've got to check out that Red Stamp app. What cute little invites and such!

Love that dress! I had such a hard time picking out what to wear for Easter, too. Mostly because most of my dresses are grey and black.

    Happy Easter!
