Five on Friday

Happy Friday! Thank you, as always, to the Five on Friday hostesses: A. Liz Adventures, Carolina Charm, Hello! Happiness and [the good life blog]

-ONE-
Some of you have asked me how my working out is going post-baby, and I must say…my trainer is kicking my butt - and majorly!

I am typically a go-to-the-gym-and-hop-on-the-elliptical-for-30-minutes type of girl, but that is just a warm-up to her. She is making me do exercises I have never seen or heard of before, but the good thing is, I totally feel it. I get up in the middle of the night to feed Walker and I feel like my abs are going to fall off…is that even possible? But seriously, she is kicking my rear in gear!

I'll share all my stats once I get to where I want to be, but since I have started working out {about two weeks}, I have lost four pounds and five percent body fat. I'll take it!

I'll also take this shirt, please and thank you.

I shared my thoughts on tanning earlier this week {check it out here}, and after that post, I found what is touted to be "the best self-tanner" on the market on Pinterest. This bottle is definitely in my Amazon cart right now - amongst many other things - and I can't wait for it to get here! Thank you, Amazon Prime!

Anyone out there tried this stuff?

I finally bit the bullet and ordered huge prints of Walker's newborn portraits from Shutterfly. {We're talking 16x20 and 20x30 sizes for frames in our hallway and bedroom.} Typically that is a pretty penny, but I am an online coupon code fiend, and I got a big discount from coupon codes on Retail Me Not and gift certificates that were included in various maternity gift bags I had received from my doctor's office, maternity clothes stores, etc.

So, with all of my discounts and coupon codes, I only paid $22 for huge portraits and smaller 8x10 and 5x7 ones! I was so excited it was ridiculous! Finding all of these discounts is like a little game to me. Ha!

Speaking of Walker, the child already turns his head toward the TV. Seriously, what the heck?! He definitely prefers his right side, so my aunt - who is an Early Childhood Interventionist - showed us ways to get him to turn toward the left more often. As we were doing that the other night, he looked up and was fixated on the TV. I kept joking, "Walker! Turn your head! That stuff will rot your brain!" and he would just smile at me. Clearly he is not going to be left handed like his mama! {Dangit!}

-FIVE-
We have absolutely zero plans this weekend, and I am thrilled beyond belief about that! I have taken the idea from my friend Liz to start Pizza Friday, so our first go-round tonight is going to be this pizza. I can't wait! Do y'all have any weeknight food traditions like Taco Tuesday or Pizza Friday?

I hope y'all have a fantastic weekend! I'm off to do five loads {yes, five} of laundry so I can enjoy mine! :)
