It's a rainy, icky Sunday afternoon here, and we're thoroughly enjoying being cuddled up on the couch watching football on TV. I have supper in the Crock Pot, Brandon is studying up for his first day of his new job tomorrow, and Oliver is zonked out in his bed in the corner of our living room. I love days like this.

Since we have Monday off, we got out of work an hour early Friday afternoon. I used that time to go get a much-needed manicure and pedicure...and it was amazing.

Brandon and I decided to change it up a bit and go to a local barbeque joint for supper: Hard Eight BBQ. It was sooooo good.

You stand in line around this huge barbeque wood-fired pit that holds as much/many ribs, sausage, chicken, brisket, ham, etc. that you could ever imagine. You tell them what you want, and then go inside to get all the sides you can even imagine: potato salad, macaroni and cheese, jalapeño sweet corn, bread...and the list goes on.

I had the brisket-stuffed baked potato, potato salad, sweet corn, sweet tea and a bit of Brandon's apple cobbler. He had the spicy sausage, chicken kebabs, brisket, cornbread salad, apple cobbler and sweet tea.

Y'all. We. were. stuffed. It was seriously so good and we will definitely be taking my dad there when he comes into town! {There were even people there from Syracuse, N.Y. who flew in just for the Cowboys game "and to try real Texas barbeque." Ha!}

We got a ton of things done around the house, which seems to be our Saturday tradition 'round these parts. We watched Baylor {barely} beat Kansas State and move up to #12 in the rankings; Brandon sold a couple of things on Craigslist; and I visited with my sister-in-law who is having a C-section on Thursday! We can't wait to meet our sweet niece!

That night, Brandon came home with pumpkins and we did our annual tradition of carving them while listening to "Monster Mash."

Side note: Excuse my makeup-less-ness.

We went to church, where a sweet older couple we've been getting to know well gave us this sweet Baylor onesie for the baby. They are also Baylor grads and are so, so sweet. They've offered to bring us meals once he's here, babysit, etc. I'm so thankful God led us to our church and the sweet people in it!

After church, I ran over to Target to pick up a few things. Are y'all using their Cartwheel app? It's free, and it's the most awesome coupon app there is! You preload the coupons you want {sometimes I even do it in store!} and then hand your phone to the cashier at checkout, where they'll scan one barcode and your savings will be applied!

Today, I only bought two things that weren't on my app! And even though it's only 5% savings on most things, you still save money...and who doesn't like to do that?! It's almost a game to me.

Hope y'all have a wonderful rest of your Sunday! I'm off work tomorrow and am spending my day interviewing pediatricians. ;)
