What I'm Loving Wednesday: Beauty Edition

Happy Wednesday! It's such a gloomy, cold one here today. Blah.

So, to cheer us all up, here's a "What I'm Loving Wednesday: Beauty Edition."

I was having a major acne moment last month. I don't know what in the world wreaked havoc on my skin, but something did and it was terrible. I was so embarrassed to take my make-up off...even in front of my husband...so I knew I needed to do something and stat.

I used this cleanser about a year ago and never refilled when it ran out. But I am now a believer again because I picked it up at Ulta {there's no Sephora around us, boo!} last weekend and my skin is already so clear.

I've told y'all before how much I love my Clarisonic Mia. After said "acne moment," I broke down and purchased a two-pack of their acne brush head. I totally give credit to this little guy {and the Murad} for clearing my skin up in a matter of days.

I have never been one for primers, but a saleslady at Ulta gave me a sample of this when I bought the cleanser {above}. Y'all, I am hooked! I wear B.B. Cream {below} and it makes it stay ALL DAY LONG. I even put a tiny touch on my eyelids and my eye make-up is in the same spot when I get home at 5:30 p.m. as it was when I left the house at 7:30 a.m. It just generally smooths everything out, makes my pores invisible and makes my skin look flawless.

You can bet when my little sample is up that I'll be buying a bottle of this stuff. Marketing worked! :)

Just like with my clothes, I am a huge proponent of mixing high- and low-end make-up. If it's a good brand with quality ingredients, no one will ever know the difference, and your wallet will thank you. After reading in a magazine about L'Oreal's B.B. Cream, I decided to pick some up at my local drugstore, and it didn't disappoint.

B.B. Cream is light, airy and is honestly a mix between a light foundation and a tinted moisturizer. It doesn't mask everything like a heavy foundation and it feels like you have nothing on your face at all.

I love nude gloss this time of the year. After seeing this on Pinterest, I picked some up and I LOVE it. It's not goopy and sticky like MAC's Lipglass and it actually stays, unlike other gloss. And, it's the perfect nude...especially for my pale skin.

This is currently on my nails and I love it. It's a perfect pale pink...again, especially for my pale skin.

What are some of your favorite products?
