Thanks for the Memories

Today is technically my last full day as a Senior Account Executive at Weber Shandwick. I'm not going to lie to you, it's been a bit bittersweet. I'm also not going to lie to you when I say that some people have not been exactly friendly since I announced I was leaving, but that's to be expected. However, thanks to all of you that have called, emailed, texted and left blog comments here with your congratulations! Brandon and I are both so excited, and know that this is ultimately the very best decision for both me and our family.

Anyway, I have to wear suits at my new job. And honestly? I don't own one. Not one. Crazy, right? I've been really blessed that I have been able to wear cute skirts and shirts from Loft during the week and jeans and a cute top on Fridays. But now? Suit city!

So, Brandon told me to order one online {thank you for your 30 percent off sale, Banana!} and I got the jacket, skirt, pants combo. He's also taking me shopping for more clothes this weekend {thank you, tax refund!}. But I know I have to dress it up with cute tops, shoes and accessories, so I've been scavenging Pinterest for inspiration. Here's what I've come up with:

I love this outfit! I think it's girly and stylish. The only thing I would have to do is throw a fitted blazer over the top.

I also like this outfit, and shockingly, it's from Talbots! {Who woulda thought?!} I would just throw a gray blazer over the top.

I think this outfit is very cute for winter, and even though it's a sweater {not a suit jacket or a blazer}, I think it would suffice. This is from Target, of all places.

Redbook put this outfit together, so I don't know the exact pieces, but I think it's very professional for spring. I absolutely love adding a pop of color to anything, especially since I feel like I've been wearing so much black, white and gray lately.

I think this outfit would be cute for Fridays, especially since it's still somewhat dressy, but not that formal. This is from Express...and I never shop there, but I need to find this cute top!

Of course I love anything that Blair Waldorf wears! This is precious on its own, but I'd need to throw on a suit jacket or blazer.

I L-O-V-E this look! This sparkly top is on sale at Banana right now, so I'm going to buy it and wear it over a white button-down and pair it with my black suit. Adds just a perfect amount of "fun" to any wardrobe. :)

I'm also having to buy office supplies for my {very own} office for the first time. I've been kind of spoiled in that my current company just has everything we need right here for us. So, since I have to be organized {duh!} I bought, for the first time, the Erin Condren Life Planner

Mine looks like this:

I also bought a monogrammed mouse pad, because, c'mon...I need a mouse pad and who doesn't love a good monogram?! I ordered mine from A Bird in Hand Designs on Etsy. Here's the design:

Happy Friday, y'all! Have a great weekend!
