So much has happened since I last wrote on Sunday that I barely know where to begin.

So last month? Yeah. Bad. Really bad. This month? Good. Really good.

Brandon and I are really learning about God's grace, provision and love, and I think I've said more times than once this week, "Wow. God is so good." And I firmly believe that He knocks us down a few notches and allows "bad" things to happen to us for us to fully understand and comprehend the extent of His love and our complete dependency on Him -- no one and nothing else.

But allow me to back up.

I got promoted on Monday!!! {I frankly shouldn't even be writing it on here because it hasn't been announced yet. So shhh, okay?}

Brandon took me to supper at The Cheesecake Factory, per my request, on Monday night to celebrate.

Also on Monday, we learned from our contractor that we can move home on Thursday! As in, tomorrow. We are so beyond thrilled and I literally have so much anticipation to sleep in my own bed.

Basically, all that has to be done is to replace the cabinet kick-plates and restain them, patch a few holes in the walls and retexturize and repaint them, replace the siding on my bathtub, replace the carpet in my master closet and remove and replace the wood floors in my entire house.

The whole "removing and replacing the wood floors" thing is the hard part, but they're removing them today and we'll be living there {with a concrete floor} until they're done the week of Thanksgiving.

We're just so very thankful that the situation is much better than it originally was, and hey, I get new wood floors out of the deal!

Tuesday wasn't that fabulous of a day based on the outcome of the election, but we still were very festive and wore our red in support of the Republican Party!

Brandon and I both took off on Friday {originally to go to my parents', but that's not happening now}, so we're very much looking forward to sleeping late, unpacking and getting back home and cleaning up a bit.

And I'm most excited about seeing my sweet little Ollie-bug!

Happy Wednesday, friends.

"Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God."
