What I'm Loving Wednesday

Happy Wednesday!

This week I'm absolutely loving all of the Olympics coverage. I'm always proud to be an American, but when the Olympics rolls around, I always want to scream from the rooftops, "USA! USA! USA!"

Ryan Lochte? I love him. He is so cute and just genuine. And those abs? Be still my heart. {I could make him get rid of that grill. Ha!}

And while I'm not the biggest fan, I'm proud of Michael Phelps for now being the most decorated Olympian ever. Go Team USA!

The gymnastics coverage last night was awesome. I don't know how those girls do some of the things with their bodies that they do. {Those splits? Physically hurt me.}

I'm so proud that they won the gold for the first time since the 1996 Olympics. Crazy!

I must say, however, that Jordyn Wieber's eyebrows {or lack thereof} really bother me. And do they all need that many Goody clippie barrettes in their hair?

And while they're {obviously} not rooting for the good ol' US of A, I do love seeing Catherine and William in the stands. And Harry, too! It's so great that they're so supportive of their cousin, Zara Phillips, and their country.

Moving away from the Olympics, we're loving Silk Vanilla Coconut milk

I always put loads of coffee creamer in my coffee {Brandon always says, "Would you like some coffee with your cream?"} so I'm trying to move away from that. I purchased this at Tom Thumb and we've been putting it in our coffee, and I can already tell a difference from the amount of extra sugar that I'm not consuming daily.

And? Brandon {we think} is lactose intolerant, so this is a bonus for him.

I'm also loving Chick-Fil-A

I was going to do an entire post about this, but I decided against it.

I applaud Chick-Fil-A for speaking their honest, Christian views. So what if they don't support gay marriage? Our CURRENT PRESIDENT did not support gay marriage {he now does because he wants to get reelected} and yet, somehow, he got elected into the highest office in our nation.

Did we all honestly think that a restaurant that closes on Sunday to observe the Sabbath, plays Christian music over the speakers and gives out Christian-based toys in its kids' meals was really going to support gay marriage? I didn't think so.

I'm not trying to stir up a debate here {please don't leave any nasty comments about this}, but I do believe that they have just as much right to give their views as all of the LGBT groups have to give theirs.

Bottom line: I love their food, I support their beliefs, I'm a Christian, and dangit, I'm going to eat at Chick-Fil-A today!!!
