Father's Day + Weekend + Menu Friday

Happy Father's Day to my amazing dad, father-in-law and grandfathers. I'm so thankful to have each of them in our lives, and am ever grateful for their Christian example, love and provision. 

This weekend, we staycationed like pros. It was so needed and I'm so glad we did it! 

Friday, we got massages and then hopped over to Central Market for supper. While we were there, we noticed they were having a huge sale on their Cul-de-Sac wine, so we just bought a case. Why not? 

Saturday, we slept in and got a few things done around the house. Brandon played golf with his dad while I went on a walk with Jessica. 

Then, we started to get ready for our dinner. I decided to try the new "trend" and paint my nails a bright color with one nail glittery. I'm still not sure if I like it, but I think it's fun! 

Our dinner at Ocean Prime was so amazing! We will definitely be going back. 

We had a bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon, sourdough bread and crab cakes appetizer to start.

Brandon ordered red fish and lobster mashed potatoes as his main course...

...and I had the petite filet mignon and black truffle macaroni + cheese. 

We had a nice after-dinner drink for dessert and came home full and happy. 

We slept in this morning and are planning to lounge around the house all day. Couldn't be a better ending to a fun staycation. 

And, because I forgot on Friday, here's what we had to eat this week: 

Baked Shrimp Scampi + fresh green beans

I'm getting back to yoga this week; wish me luck!
