What I'm Loving Wednesday

It's Wednesday, and you know that that means...

I'm loving that the Baylor Lady Bears are National Champions!

It is such a great year to be a Bear and I'm more than happy to report that in the 2011-2012 season, Baylor has:

1. A National Championship women's basketball team that is the FIRST EVER in history to have a perfect 40-0 season.

2. A Heisman Trophy winner {RG3} & future NFL star.

3. An Alamo Bowl-winning {and 10 wins} football team.

4. Two Associated Press "Players of the Year" {RG3 and Brittney Griner}.

5. A men's basketball team that advanced to the Elite 8.

Also, I'm so excited that my brother, Royden, has decided to go to to Baylor in the fall. I just know he's going to love it...and what better time to get to be a freshman than this!?

I'm loving that after the rain, surely comes the sunshine.

It was a pretty rough day yesterday in Dallas {and my first time ever to experience tornadoes from the 16th floor of my office building}, but I'm so thankful that we're okay. It was far worse for many others, and we're blessed to be okay today.

I'm loving that it's birthday week!

It's been an eventful one, that's for sure, but nevertheless, I'm celebrating! And I'm celebrating by not cooking last night. Leftovers it was.

PS: Have you seen the Bethenny Ever After episode when Jason asks her if she wants to...you know...for her birthday? It cracked me up when she said, "Typically you don't ask for a gift on someone else's birthday." He said, "Oh, so now it's a gift?"

Cracked. me. up.

And speaking of birthday, I ordered Kelle Hampton's book, Bloom, in January and it's coming on Friday!

I have a feeling I'll have read it cover-to-cover on Monday.

Have a great Wednesday, y'all!

xoxo
