Happy Sunday!

I finally, finally started to feel better on Friday. And, I was getting a bit of cabin fever, so Brandon offered to take me to low-key dinner and a movie to get me out of the house.

We had dinner plans with a fabulous couple from our Sunday School class, but I had to cancel earlier in the week for fear that I wouldn't feel better on Friday and I didn't want to get them sick! {Poor Brandon is sick now. :( }

We went to Mockingbird Station, which is a hop, skip and a jump from our apartment. We had a quick dinner at Margarita Ranch and then went to see J. Edgar

I loved the way the restaurant brought out our old Patron bottles! How cute!

{PS: The movie was TERRIBLE. And really, really long. We're talking Titanic long.}

I was exhausted by the time we got home, so we just crashed.

We spent Saturday doing absolutely nothing, and then listened via Internet radio to Baylor beat Kansas by one point in overtime. Apparently it was the biggest comeback Baylor has ever had (they scored 24 points in the 4th quarter!). We're now bowl-eligible for the second year in a row! Go Bears!!!

Saturday evening, we had a dinner with Brandon's new boss and the rest of his team at Truluck's in Southlake.

Probably the best meal I've eaten in my life. I had wine {probably not the best idea with antibiotics}, cranberry bread, shrimp cocktail, lobster with butter sauce, Parmesan mashed potatoes, broccolini, and this dessert called "The Box."

Seriously a-mazing. I'm not feeling so well today. :)

{This is not the best picture of me, but it's the only one we took at the whole dinner!}

The dinner lasted until around 11 p.m., so we stayed the night with my in-law's in Southlake to avoid driving back to Dallas that late. We slept in until 10:15 a.m., which was amazing.

I'm now half-awake on the couch listening/watching to my husband cheer on the Cowboys. I have to go to New York on Tuesday for work, so I'm trying to get my house and laundry in order.

Hope y'all have a great week!
