Weekend.

This weekend, we did nothing.

{Hence the lack of photos.}

It was wonderful, and just what we both needed. Pretty sure the couch has a nice imprint of my butt in it...and do I care? Nope. And, I apologize ahead of time for the boring blog post that follows. :)

Friday:
I came home and Real Simple was in my mailbox. Ahh, it was a sign that a good weekend was in store. I sat on the couch with it and a glass of wine and flipped through the pages. We ate shrimp tacos together and watched The Lincoln Lawyer. (Ah-mazing!)

Saturday:
Brandon woke me up before 9 a.m. (I was ready to kill him!), so we enjoyed a cup of coffee on the couch together {no talking} so I could wake up. Then, I made my grocery list and cleaned my make-up in the kitchen, because it was annoying me so. I love the look of those clean compacts!

That afternoon while Brandon played golf, I ran errands, which included a trip to Bed, Bath & Beyond for a wine suction pump-y thing. Can I please tell you that I love all the coupons they send in the mail? I got more than $12 off because of these coupons!

{Side note: I rarely ever shop anymore without using a coupon! After the initial "money saving high," I wonder how I ever shopped without using them before.}

After my errands, I lounged on the couch and watched Keeping Up With The Kardashians and Khloe & Lamar reruns, and OnDemand Law & Order: Los Angeles.

When Brandon got home, we ate supper and went to bed early.

Sunday:
We got up and went to Sunday School, then went to Pei Wei afterwards with our Sunday School class. {Yum!} Brandon is currently making his own butt imprint in the couch watching the Women's World Cup while I do laundry. Tonight, we're going to dinner at our Sunday School teachers' house for the new members (us).

Also, if you're my Facebook friend or follow me on Twitter (@britt_whit), you've seen my posts about sweet James Camden Sikes and asking for your prayers. Little James went to be with the Lord yesterday at a young eight months old. Will you please continue to pray for his parents, Matthew and Kara? I can't imagine the heartbreak they're facing right now (and will continue to face in the months and years to come).  You can read more about their story here

Happy Sunday.
