weekend wrap-up

This weekend in five words:
Relaxing. Cozy. Lazy. Clean. Food.

Oh, one more:
Perfect. 

What did we do this weekend? 

I cleaned (which was much needed). We slept in (again, much needed). We ate lots of home-cooked meals, like this one:


My husband says I make the best homemade pizza. Because I'm feeling kind, the recipe is below.  

We made a quick trip to the doctor to fix hubs' crazy cold. {Meaning we didn't get to have supper with brother and sister-in-law. So sad!} We visited homes with our Realtor. We bought a Frisbee and played in a park near our house. (And, consequently, ran into hubs' brother and his group of friends playing flag football in the same park. It gave me that "Dallas is huge but this feels like a small town" feeling.) We watched DVR'd shows begging to be watched. We laid in bed and watched HGTV. We played a trivia game. 

We just spent time together. Which was much-needed.

And, when I got up to grab a bottle of water a minute ago, I saw this:

 

...and it makes me happy. A cozy weekend, indeed.

"Homemade" Pizza

You will need:
1 Boboli pizza crust
1 package Boboli pizza sauce (or your favorite pizza sauce)
1 tomato
Fresh basil
Parmesan cheese, Mozzarella cheese, Feta cheese (This pizza can also be called "Clean Out Your Cheese Drawer Pizza")

Directions:
Put pizza crust on a baking stone. Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
Using a spatula, spread pizza sauce on crust.
Sprinkle Mozzarella cheese on top of pizza sauce, followed by Parmesan and Feta cheeses. (The amount of cheese you use is dependent on your taste. We love cheese, so I use a lot!) 
Tear basil and place all over cheeses.
Slice a tomato into quarters and place on top.
Sprinkle just a bit more Parmesan on top for a kick.
Bake for 10 minutes, then remove from oven and cut with a pizza cutter. Serve immediately.
